Pro-Iran protesters rally in Tunis
Demonstrators condemn U.S. and Israeli strikes and call for diplomacy
Hundreds of pro-Islamic Republic demonstrators gathered in central Tunis to protest recent U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iranian targets, voicing solidarity with Iran and the Palestinian cause. Organized by a coalition of political groups, civil society organizations and pro-Palestinian activists, the march featured Iranian and Palestinian flags, banners and chants condemning what participants described as foreign aggression that could escalate into a wider regional conflict.
Speakers at the rally accused Western governments of destabilizing the Middle East and urged international institutions to pursue diplomatic measures rather than military action.
