Iran reports intensified strike waves
Tehran claims hits on regional bases and Israeli targets
Iran’s Khatam al‑Anbia headquarters said Iranian forces intensified retaliatory strikes during the 26th day of Operation True Promise 4, reporting multiple missile and drone waves against Israeli and U.S.-linked targets.
The IRGC Aerospace Force and Navy said the 79th wave hit Israeli satellite‑receiving stations and air bases including Al Azraq (Muwaffaq Salti), Shaikh Isa, Ali Al Salem, and Camp Arifjan using long‑ and medium‑range solid and liquid‑fuel missiles and attack drones. The 80th wave reportedly targeted military and security centers in northern occupied Palestinian territories alongside Hezbollah operations.
In the 81st wave, Emad, Qiam, Khorramshahr‑4 and Qadr missiles were said to have struck more than 70 locations, citing Haifa, Dimona and Hadera.
Tehran also claimed its air‑defense systems struck an American F/A‑18 near Chabahar and that cruise missiles from its Qadeer coastal system forced the USS Abraham Lincoln strike group to reposition. Missiles were reported against U.S.-aligned positions in Erbil as well. Iranian statements framed these actions as retaliation for a large‑scale U.S. and Israeli campaign following the February 28 assassination of Iran’s leader and senior figures, which Tehran says caused civilian casualties and infrastructure damage.
