Iran launches new wave of strikes
IRGC says targets hit in Israel and US bases as conflict escalates
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it carried out the 66th wave of "Operation True Promise 4," describing a large-scale reprisal that struck multiple targets across what it called the occupied territories and U.S. military positions in the region. The IRGC statement said strikes hit locations in central and southern areas—including Tel Aviv, al-Quds, Haifa, Be'er Sheva and the Negev—as well as American outposts in Qatar, Bahrain, the UAE, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
Iranian forces reported using a mix of solid- and liquid-fuel missiles, naming Qadr, Khorramshahr, Kheibar Shekan, Qiam and Zolfaqar systems, alongside attack drones and precision-guided, multi‑warhead projectiles. The statement claimed the operation successfully pressured Israeli population centers with repeated alerts and sheltering and framed the campaign as retaliation for recent strikes on Iran, warning that the reprisals will continue.
Israeli authorities were accused in the Iranian release of launching an "unjust war" and of suffering internal crises; no independent confirmation of the full scope or effects of the claimed strikes was provided. International sources have not yet verified all target impacts or any casualties, and the status of U.S. bases reportedly struck has not been independently confirmed.
