IRGC claims strikes on U.S. bases
Iran says missiles hit Persian Gulf military sites
“The IRGC Navy conducted a powerful and decisive operation against US military remnants in the region during the Night of Power on the 21st day of the holy month of Ramadan, as part of the 38th wave of the True Promise 4 operation, codenamed "Ya Haydar al-Karrar (AS)," the IRGC’s public relations office declared in the 31st statement of the True Promise 4 operation.
Following two simultaneous missile strikes on the US helicopter base at Al-Udairi, a large number of American soldiers were left incapacitated, with over 100 wounded troops transported to Al-Jaber and Al-Mubarak hospitals in Kuwait, it said.
Critical infrastructure at the US base in Mina Salman Port, the headquarters of the US Fifth Fleet, including the vital "LEADS" system, was struck by Iranian missiles and drones, according to the statement.
Simultaneously, Patriot missile systems, equipment warehouses, and barracks housing American troops at the "Mohammad al-Ahmad" and "Ali al-Salem" naval bases were severely hit, it added.
The IRGC emphasized that the fight against American terrorist forces and the criminal Zionist regime will persist unabated. "We seek only the enemy’s total surrender," the statement read. "The war will end when the shadow of war is lifted from our nation."
