Iran launches new wave of regional strikes

Missiles and drones launched by Iran in retaliation for U.S. and Israeli strikes were observed over regional skies, including reports of launches seen above Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, prompting Israeli air defenses to activate. The Israel Defense Forces said it identified missiles fired from Iran toward Israeli territory and carried out a wide-scale strike on infrastructure in central Tehran.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced it executed “wave 83” of Operation True Promise 4, saying it struck U.S. and Israeli military targets across the region with a mix of long- and medium-range missiles, precision munitions, multi-warhead systems and loitering and suicide drones. Listed targets included oil depots and storage tanks in Ashdod, a military site in Modi'in, U.S. bases such as Al-Dhafra and Al-Udeid, hangars at Ali Al-Salem, and Patriot-system facilities at Sheikh Isa. The IRGC claimed full success and warned of continued retaliation, saying civilians in Israeli areas face daily sirens and sheltering.

Iranian spokespeople also accused U.S. personnel of abandoning bases for civilian hotels, denouncing the move as misuse of civilian cover. Tehran reported a drone barrage on facilities at Haifa port, targeting vessel maintenance centers and large fuel storage for military aircraft.
