IRGC says strikes hit Israel and U.S. bases

Iran launches new missile drone wave

Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says it has launched the 40th wave of Operation True Promise 4, conducting coordinated missile and drone strikes across what it calls “occupied territories” and against regional US military bases. The IRGC reported firing Qadr, Emad, Kheibar Shekan and Fattah missiles in a sustained, five‑hour barrage, while Hezbollah allegedly contributed large numbers of attack drones and missiles, with the combined assault striking “more than 50 objectives” from Haifa and Tel Aviv to Be’er Sheva. For the first time during the operation, missiles were reportedly launched toward Eilat.

Tehran claimed the strikes inflicted significant damage on military sites and raised Israeli casualties, saying the attacks created a “new reality on the ground” that confined residents to shelters. The IRGC also said the wave struck US facilities in the region, naming al‑Azraq in Jordan and al‑Kharj in Saudi Arabia among targets.

Iran framed the campaign as a direct response to recent US and Israeli attacks, vowing to continue operations until “the enemy’s complete surrender” and the war’s shadow is lifted. The IRGC’s claims depict heavy, ongoing cross‑border exchanges involving long‑range missiles and drones and highlight cooperation with Hezbollah; independent verification of the full scale and effects of the strikes is limited.
